An Unbelieavable ending

We were playing at 4.0 level so I knew we would have to keep the energy level up at all times.Sometimes this expectation of consistency can bring you down although these are matches that one really enjoys playing.
I was surprised and happy when we won the first set 6-3. I did not want that 1st set win to lull me in nonchalance and I was not surprised when the opponents started picking up their game and we ended up losing the 2nd set 6-4. There I said to myself atleast now we know what we are dealing with.The losing streak didn't stop there and we ended up looking almost out of the game at 1-7 in the third set tiebreak. The third set in women's doubles is a super tiebreak of 10 points instead of a full set.

Usually down at 1-7 or for that matter a difference of more than 3 points in a tied break spells doom but I don't know what got into us or what sailed us through or what got into the opponent, we saw ourselves crawl back into the game and we didn't just level at 7-all we won it from there :) 10-7 Phew! Val and I hugged for 2 whole minutes still not believing what we had pulled off.
Definitely a game to remember :)
